Multiple Teams · BE Kids Volunteer at the Knights of Columbus Turkey Day Run

Great job by the Track and Field, Cross Country and Wrestling teams who volunteered at the Turkey Day Run on Wednesday and Thursday.

The teams ran the registration tables, setup and ran and the Kids Fun Run event, manned the course, sold t-shirts and setup the food and water stations.

The 5k race had 8,991 runners and was  a huge success due to the hard work of the BE athletes.  The Kids Run was the most successful in the history of the Kids Run.  Over 500 kids registered for the Kids Run that was completely organized and run by the BE athletes.

The athletes put in over 300 combined hours helping out the Knights of Columbus organization with the Turkey Day Run.

The wrestling team unloaded and stacked:

25 cases of blueberry muffins,16 cases of bagels, 16 cases of English muffins, 25 cases of apples, 40 cases of bananas and a little over 250 cases of water
