There were runs aplenty on Wednesday, as Bishop England defeated Hilton Head 19-15.

BE fired up the offense in the first inning. CAMPBELL BRUSMAN was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Hilton Head scored six runs in the sixth inning. Hilton Head’s big inning was driven by singles by Mlodzinski and #1, by Timperman, an error on a ball put in play by Keber, and a double by Markowitz.

DANIEL BROOKS was credited with the victory for Bishop England. The righty went two innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out five and walking zero.

Timperman toed the rubber for Hilton Head. The pitcher surrendered six runs on one hit, walking one.

The Bishops hit one home run on the day. DOOM DENNIS went for the long ball in the first inning.

Bishop England tallied 12 hits. SEAN HOLLISTER, DENNIS, and RYAN TURNER all collected multiple hits for BE. HOLLISTER led the Bishops with three hits in three at bats.

Hilton Head had 14 hits in the game. Keber, Miller, Mlodzinski, and Markowitz all managed multiple hits for Hilton Head.
